2025-01-10 06:02:51 +0000 UTCThis movie is one of my top five favorites of all time! Please don't avoid historical films. In school, I also wasn't good at history. I blame the teachers; they should be making history exciting as the movies. Instead they make it boring. Historical movies, when done properly, are great! 1. The Braveheart soundtrack is indeed awesome and got nominated for many awards. The composer is James Horner and right after Braveheart, he was most famous for composing the soundtrack for Titanic. 2. Speaking of awards, Braveheart won five oscars including Best Picture and Best Director 3. It was either hot tar or burning oil being poured out of the castle. 4. Usually under torture, people will eventually say anything so that's why Wallace was given the opportunity to confess many times. 5. Even thought this was a great movie, it isn't very historically accurate. So supposedly, many of the portrayal of the characters were way off.

They're just good films because of the honorable characters / moral uprightness, good acting and all the work that went into them (Gladiator or Last Samurai too). And it's always so enjoyable to see your reactions to our favorite films! Plus, you have a good sense of justice and honor.
