Yes, as mentioned by another post, Greyscale is only contagious only if the infected area is touched 2. I can never watch the sacrifice scene. I either fast forward or look away. It's too heartbreaking. 3. When Dany pulls the spear out of Drogon and he roars at her, I always interpreted that as "OUCH MOMMY THAT HURT!"

And yes the Greyscale only spreads through direct contact with the infected area. But, it is a little more risky then that. For instance the princess Shireen got infected from a doll her father bought (probably owned or held at one point by a person had the disease). As for the red woman, the question remains... Is she going to be one of those characters that gets redeemed. Only time will tell.
