There was a quote in GoT that "madness and greatness are two sides of the same coin." That referred to when a Targaryen child is born (out of incest) the gods would flip a coin. There was this scene when Cersei was talking to Tyrion and said the same thing regarding Joffrey, and his coin probably landed on madness.

2024-07-03 17:37:56 +0000 UTC- You my be right about Sansa. It's taken a lot to knock down her naiveté. Her father dying, Joffrey's abuse, and now being told she has to marry Tyrion. Her dreams are slowly evaporating. She had a brief bit of hope with the idea of marrying Loras, but that has been washed away. If she wants to survive in King's Landing, she has to learn the game. - No worries about Renly and Loras, there are so many characters and it can take several watches to really get a fair grasp. Us old hats used to rewatch previous seasons while awaiting the new ones and caught a lot more stuff. - To answer your Arya question. It's been a whirlwind. She fled King's Landing, got picked up by Lannisters, escaped the Lannisters (with help), got picked up by The Brotherhood, escaped them and now has gotten picked up by The Hound (Sandor Clegane). Her ultimate goal so far has been to find her family, but she's also plotting revenge. Her only god is death.
