Thanks for the reaction for "Spider-Man" (2002). The personal relationships were awkward in an otherwise good action movie. I don't think the screenwriter did a very good job with the dialogue between the characters - it felt unnatural. I also felt that the director, Sam Raimi, held too long on the close-up shots during intense conversations between Peter and MJ. This is usually done to emphasize feelings but IMO it was overused. I did enjoy the action scenes and fight sequences between the Goblin and Spider-Man. Back when this movie was made they didn't yet have the tools to do good action CGI so Willem Dafoe said for some scenes he was in the suit wearing harness while riding the glider on wires. He said it was fun.

When you see her you will understand me. She really cared for him and I will never forgive Peter (ง︡'-'︠)ง
