This movie reminded me of Arrival in a sense our main protagonist is trying to make first contact and then attempting to decipher the language received and improve communication. I personally really enjoyed the themes of Religion vs. Science throughout this film, showing us the different pespectives in our character's beliefs. I loved the ending, absolutely beautiful what Ellie experienced and to have it so that she only experienced while the rest of the world didn't goes back to earlier in the film when she's asking for proof about God. Now what she's experienced, she has no proof of it, she can only hope that someone believes and validates her experience. Incredible. And the line "It should have been a poet"!?!? Her tearing up made me wanna tear up hahaha, beautiful scene. I heard the book is really good so I'm considering picking it up.

If you love this I can't wait till you see interstellar LOL. This was like interstellar from back in the '90s 🙌🏻 I remember when I was young It got me in love with astronomy and just everything out there
