I will be honest, a 20-ish so age gap in dating isn't really my taste, but I honestly found the film to be enjoyable :) Anne Hatheway is SO gorgeous, and she did amazing with her role and tbh I may be an Austin Moon fan myself with those songs XD I appreciate that in the film, we don't get a happy ending right away as we see Solene and Hayes say their goodbyes. I think it brings in a realistic aspect about how chaotic it can be to date a celebrity (to both parties) and how it affects loved ones, especially in this film with the main protagonist being a mother. I liked seeing the characters weren't so caught up or in a rush to be in a relationship as we see how Izzy, Solene's daughter, is heavily affected by their relationship. And I love the loyalty of Hayes.. like mans waited 5 years for this woman, a keeper! I think it's an interesting take as well with the whole gender reverse as we usually hear about older men with younger women, but I won't get too into that lol. Overall, I thought it was a cute and fun film! Thank you for watching and lmk your thoughts :3
