XD You're really showing off your love of folktales! 💖 I recognise the silhouette of what MIGHT be a phoenix, the dimensional expansion glove... kind of makes me think of Sweet Porridge/the Magic Porridge Pot (but I feel like I'm probably wrong). I recognise the nettle shirts from somewhere, but I don't know where. The magic carpet I recognise from both Arabian Nights and Baba Yaga stories. I love the ridiculous amount of magical protections around that door! XD I recognise the Middle Eastern nazar/eye amulets, Far Eastern ofuda talismans, Germanic runes (I didn't know they could be used like that!), protective salt, and I THINK garlic hanging from the ceiling. The door itself... it evokes the vermillion-painted wood in Chinese and Japanese temples and shrines, but it makes me think more of sacred orange peach wood, which I know is a protective element in Chinese folkore against evil, as I've actually used an orange peach wood door for that exact purpose in one of my stories! I'd love to see a bonus post showing the origin and meaning of each object on this page. It's such a love letter to folklore and fairy tales! ^.^
