IMPORTANT - New changes on tiers and video schedules

Hi everyone.

It has been almost three months since the first post made in June 2nd. The community has grown beyond my expectations. I remember when we had to deal with the deletion of the YouTube channel where the videos were hosted originally.

Vimeo has been the host ever since, not without some limitations. For the past week I'm receiving notifications that I'm reaching the bandwidth limits and that I will have to negotiate a new subscription or reduce the bandwidth usage. Bandwidth usage is affected mostly by video reproduction. I upload my videos at 4K, and I thought to reduce definition to Full HD, but after a few days I discarded that option because it would not look good on a smart TV. After researching the topic, it seems that only 1% of Vimeo accounts reach this limit and the new subscription prices are not worth to keep the channel running.

In addition, due to the end of summer time, it is very difficult to keep the production of new videos as before since I can only film during weekends because there is not enough people at the beach during week days and it does not reach the minimum quality I've set for the videos. Fortunately, I've been filming extra videos during the past month and a half to have enough footage as a reserve in case some weekends the weather turns ugly.

So, in order to address both the bandwidth issue as well as the video production shortage, the best solution is to change the frequency of video schedules.

From October onwards, the video schedule will be the following:

- Spicy Hot Azure tier: 1 video every week (Sunday)

- Hot Azure tier: 1 video every 2 weeks (Sunday)

The pricing will remain the same. I have kept the pricing low during the summer compared to similar content taking into account I posted two videos a week for the higher tier. This new pricing is the standard for this type of content.

I really hope you understand the need for a change and continue supporting this community. It has been a short but intense road to this point, and hopefully will last much longer. There are more videos to come and a new beach to add to the list. Also, I'm considering a trip to the sunny and beautiful Canary Island this winter in order to film some beaches there. Stay tuned!
