Goddamn it August you had one job, “don’t be a dick to best girl”, and you couldn’t even do that. Also damn you really feel for Gera here, she is a honest and simple character, wants to do her job the best she can, and doesn’t really play or know how to play these mental chess. Her and Darlak are somewhat of parallels both vampires, both working for the crown, but that’s where the similarities end. And once again this really does put into perspective just how much more quick wit can beat brute force. And it’s pretty much something that my girl here seemed to have gotten herself. I kind of wonder if this realization will go anywhere in the sense that Gera will have to fight smarter rather than harder. But we’ll have to wait and see. For now it seems like we are gonna have a bit of a heart to heart to heart and I swear to god August you better friggen apologize. Also congratulations on the 500th page!! It’s a huge and immensely impressive milestone.
