Update 0.70 - Keisuke (Hotfix)

Good evening everyone,

Sorry for being a day late on this one. I was trying to finish it yesterday, but couldn't quite fit everything I wanted into the update by then.

This ended up being a weird one for me, as I addressed a lot of events that were a while coming from previous updates. Things that needed to be dealt with before the plot is to move forward. Yet nothing really that earth shattering, so it left me feeling like not much happened. Probably because so much happened in the past few updates for Jun and Shoichi, so this felt almost... sedate by comparison? Then again, Keisuke's route as a whole is a lot more stable, so it tends to feel that way for me in general.

Who would have thought that healthy, non-toxic relationships would feel so much less eventful, right?

Either way, hope you guys like this one. Let me know of any bugs you might find. And also, if anyone is running this game on Mac, can you let me know if it's running properly? I've had a report of issues on Mac, but since I don't own one and can't seem to get a Mac virtual machine to run, I haven't been able to test it yet.

Changelog:

• Days 41 and 42 added for Keisuke

• Prologue skip system was retooled, being made to both look and work better

• Some background code was cleaned up and optimized. Especially in Jun's route, the game should no longer lag as noticeably whenever text messages come up, as I found a way to clear older messages without breaking the script

• Finally managed to fix the transitions on the character select screen. Where it would previously hard-cut to black in a very jarring transition, it should now smoothly fade out and then back in. It's something that's bothered me for years and I could never quite fix

Hotfix (04/09/2024): There was a bug that made it so if a player had never gotten through the Prologue before and clicked New Game, it would continually loop back to the title after inputting a name for the main character. That's been fixed now.
