Today I finished up a new lesson plan breaking down simple methods for soloing over a minor 8 bar blues. Here's a quick demonstration of some (mostly) simple licks that follow the chord changes while utilizing a wide variety of embellishments. I'll be back shortly with a full tutorial explaining how to internalize and retain these ideas, but until then, let's see what you can learn on your own using the attachments below.
For the beginners, remember that very rarely will you walk away from a lesson with a complete understanding or mastery of the full host of techniques.
