David Gilmour Style Guitar Licks | Pink Floyd Soloing Lesson w/ Tabs!

Hello friends,

Welcome back to Swift Guitar Lessons for another lead guitar tutorial. In today's session I've broken down some of my favorite David Gilmour style guitar licks that you can apply to major keys. This lesson has been created in collaboration with Quist, a talented and innovative guitarist whose YouTube channel features a massive library of quality jam tracks. We'll begin today's learning by reviewing fundamental soloing concepts and scales before learning a complete solo inspired by Pink Floyd's "Mother." Let's get started!

Thanks for the tips Rob... Nice job man!

Pretty basic Carlo, for a Strat I usually keep my treble at 4, mids at 6, and the bass at 7 or 8. Slap on a little extra reverb, a touch of delay, some compression and just enough overdrive to make it sing and it will sound convincing.

Always a pleasure Spike!

what are the settings for the amp?

Top lesson, top tune, thank you.

Thanks for this fun collaboration Rob - using the Mother progression was a great suggestion!
