Journey "Lights" Guitar Solo Lesson with Tabs!

Hello friends,

welcome back to Swiftlessons for another lead guitar tutorial. In today's session we'll be tackling the iconic Neal Schon guitar solo heard on Journey's 1978 hit song "Lights." This solo is a perfect example of how the basic major pentatonic scale can be employed to create memorable and melodic lead lines.

Also featured in today's lesson is the SansAmp PSA 2.0, a powerful amp simulator with all analog circuitry. This handy device is loaded with 49 customizable factory presets, and can be used to nail the tonal character of virtually any tube amp.

Note: Tabs for source scales will be added shortly.
