"I'm just rambling..." I liked that ๐. When studying to physiotherapist, there was one or two things that was kinda mind opener for me. One was that you have to think that body is a mechanical machine. Biomechanical but mechanical none the less. It works the same that arm of excavator does. There's a cylinder that pulls and arm retracts. Arm in human works the same way. Second was: contrary to excavator cylinders, there's not a single muscle that pushes something. All the muscles we have, does only pulling. So for example, pectoralis does only a pulling movement: it pulls your arm to front, which enables you to push something like a barbell. These things in mind, it's a lot easier to study anatomy and draw it, because you know that; 1. everything that moves to some direction, has a muscle that makes it happen by contracting. 2. And to be able to move back again, there a counter muscle that pulls it back. 3. Mostly always, these are done in straight line due to muscle tendon connections.
