2023-03-21 09:52:09 +0000 UTCSelmy being beat by random street terrorist pissed off so many fans rightfully so, in the books hes like a fucking god, he once saved the mad king from a castle all by himself, he legit snuck in fought everyone off, grabbed the mad king , and left and his only injury was an arrow to the chest. Of course hes older now but hes still great, even Jaime in his prime feared him, he was made a knight after he beat the lord commander of the Kingsgaurd in a joust at 16 , he ended the war of the 9 penny kings by killing a dude nicknamed "Maelys the Monstrous" who was the leader off the 9 penny kings.He slays the leader of the kingswood brotherhood in single combat, (Jaime was struggling with one of the underlings) of course jaime wasn't in his prime yet but still He was so badass during Roberts rebellion that Robert spared his life and made him the captain of his kings Gaurd, Even in old age he beat the hound during joffereys name day tourney.... Sorry for the book tangent but seeing him lose always pisses me off
