so i did a rewatch today. i love the confusion on how obereon is related to this hole thing. that one person who we never see, causes so much confusion. he is central to the events taking place and like all of us when we watched this show the first-time simply could not place him correctly in form or context. well most of us!

2022-12-13 10:50:45 +0000 UTCYeah Janos Slynt was the guy's name who commanded the city watch and is now at the wall. He was fired at the dinner table by Tyrion because Janos betrayed Ned and Tyrion didn't feel comfortable with him "lurking about" and sent him to the wall.

Tywin and the mountain burned down the riverlands to lure Robb into making a mistake, and in the aftermath the thieves and outlaws are thriving from innocent people (hence the name of the 4th book A Feast for Crows)

I would especially love some more discussion after the show. Not so much about what they think will happen cause you can not really predict GOT, but more about what they think about what they saw.

2022-12-12 17:25:09 +0000 UTCone wants to leap in and help them tie the charachters to there back story.A shame they stepped over the amazing scene of tyrion and oberyn discussing the death of his sister and what the mountain did to her and the children.it wlaways seems with everyone that rhaegar is not understood well in the watching of GOT ,frustrating but still a very good thing story wise.
