To me (and a lot of others) the second and third are as good as the first. Some people think two or even three is better, and sometimes I think the second one is better too. The second film is a Christmas movie in exactly the same way this one is. The third is not. As for the rest of the sequels, they aren't nearly as good, and I'd skip them, but I definitely say you need to watch the second and third. Oh, and the third is called Die Hard With A Vengeance. :D
