2026-02-11 20:24:43 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you are doing this one instead of the Kiwami. I just watched the final cutscene of the remake, and let's just say the changes they made are so bad a big part of Yakuza 4 won't make sense to anyone who didn't play the original Y3.

I just simply wasn't having a good time in the game at times due to the game itself, not because I played it with no breaks. This was also almost 5 years ago now when I played DS2, I've learned a lot about how I even conduct myself in videos since then. I have played plenty of games on this channel with short/no break in between the next one and had a great time, I only do it when I want to and I rarely do it too I suppose I see the concern, but I simply think that you have the wrong idea about what the issue is. If it's a good game I have a good time with, there isn't an issue. Food for thought is I've played games that are 50, 60, 70 episode long playthroughs, and I didn't get burned out while playing hours and hours of the same type of experience. In comparison, these games are around 20 episodes of the same type of experience. So again, the quality of the game will be the determining factor of my attitude towards it.

Now you're still continuing with Yakuza and the new one being BG which I don't care about I'm going to stop my sub for now until you start a different series that I'm interested in. I will come around on the youtube streams though! Have fun and I hope enjoy those games Mapo!

2026-02-11 09:56:28 +0000 UTCI have not watched your Yakuza series yet (need to play them myself first), though I am not a too fan of you playing games back to back without a break with something else between. I’ve seen you do before and being burned out before you’re done with the next game. You get less excited about things and do not care about detail or extra things as much as you usually would. And you having less fun means it’s less fun to watch. Dark souls 2 being a great example of this happening, I couldn’t finish your series because you radiated “burnt out “ energy. I’m not saying it will happen immediately, but I fear you will when you’re further into the game, although you’ll have an adrenaline rush from finishing the previous game right now. However, I love watching you getting back to a series after a break!
