Next playthrough update
Added 2025-11-29 10:33:39 +0000 UTCI am currently in the process of rendering the 1st episode and trying to reduce the file size without reducing quality. This game was way more demanding on recording than I anticipated and the first video was...199gb in size, which seems not right. From what I've found on previous recordings that were this size (they were 6+ hour VODs though), lots of "noise/grain" tends to contribute to the encoding of the video and bloats it's size. Unsure why 2 hours would equate to this.
I'll be hopefully fixing whatever was causing that for the second episode but for now just know that I am working to get this episode out, it takes a long time to upload such big files to YouTube :(

Pretty sure the upload file size is purposeful as Yoko Taro’s social commentary on the size and importance of YouTube in a post-Covid world, meta-data and AI

2025-11-30 17:19:39 +0000 UTCI think if the game have filmgrain or some other noiseoverlay it may increase the size. If possible, might turn it off? Or are you playing a very fast paced game with a lot of movement on screen?
