Spruce Figure Pre Paint (Moodity) 🐮
Added 2025-05-08 21:45:55 +0000 UTCHey guys! Just another update on Spruce! I've blocked in all of the lighting and have added in the rough background. All that's left now is to paint!
Now, some of you guys may have noticed and are wondering "Why is the apple purple?" Good question! My answer to that is that, I was thinking about changing the apple to a purple fig, or purple grapes, to sort of go more with the colour scheme, and then using a green fig/grape leaf for the nether region cover for the other version. We'll see if I still want to go that route as I paint, but it's an idea lol.
*Also if I do make the change, it's easier to just repaint the apple as a fig, then going back and adjusting the sketch, shading, etc, which is why I only changed the colour and nothing else. 😂

2025-05-10 06:09:14 +0000 UTCI like the fig or grapes. It definitely compliments the rest of the colors in the piece. The red might also stand out more than the subject too. Love the idea of a classical style portrait with the backwards baseball cap haha.
