Cypress Fight Repaint! 🐮
Added 2025-03-08 17:24:39 +0000 UTCHey guys! So here was another piece where I really liked the idea, but the execution wasn't as great as I would have liked. So after leaving it for a bit, and having time to think it over, I went for it and painted over the piece. I tried to be a lot more deliberate with the composition this time, which is why the canvas was changed a few times throughout the process. I was initially gonna still keep it as more of a bust shot, but then I wanted to get a hand in there for some body language, but didn't have the room to convey it properly 😂 I think it still works though, and still gets across all of the stuff I wanted the initial one too (and then some)

2025-03-08 17:33:48 +0000 UTCThe hand actually adds quite a lot, I think! Sorta like how people suggest hand motions when you talk, it feels more animated, feels like it conveys the idea. Hand gestures are more expressive than people give them credit for, even in the most subtle of ways. That's why people should practice them more :D The blood spatters also tell quite a story on their own lol
