Totally agree with you about no one talking about you being Qunari, i played a Dwarf grey warden and there was a good amount of dialogue concerning the blight and the stone story lines, hopefully there'll be more for your PC as the story progresses

I'm fairly certain if you have a specific companion with you and go back to speak the Qunari woman who said she isn't Antaam, they'll have conversation with her and help her in her situation. Not sure if other one-off-convo characters are the same way though
