Elden Ring update
Added 2024-09-09 00:05:53 +0000 UTCHey all, the final episode of Elden Ring will come eventually…I haven’t died to him as many times as some others I’ve faced just yet, but I am just lacking the motivation on it because yes it’s quite the messed up final boss
I’ve gotten close and have recorded my attempts but haven’t played in a few days because it was like bashing my head against the wall and I needed to make progress in Zelda and BG3. So I just ask for patience as I’ll try to finish up ER when I’m ready!

2024-09-09 21:15:14 +0000 UTCJust saw in a comment that you beat him, but it's very understandable that it felt like a wall. Especially if you kept fighting solo. I used my mimic, had all the fragments, and it still took me nearly a week because I didn't want to cheese. I love the music and the visuals, but the spike in difficulty is extreme.

2024-09-09 01:45:16 +0000 UTCHonestly for me it's less that it was a hard boss, which it was, and more that I just wasn't having fun fighting him. Last time I got really stuck on a FromSoft boss was Orphan of Cos but I had a blast fighting him and it felt fair, so I didn't lose the motivation. All this to say, I'm right there with you brother.

2024-09-09 00:11:01 +0000 UTCI was expecting this. 😂 I had the same issue, man. Just keep going, you’ll get him. I won’t backseat or spoil, I just suggest really diving into researching armor combos in the DLC and the stats they give. Boss weaknesses and status effects can help too with a lot of the DLC bosses. And don’t be ashamed to use spirits summons, because it got to the point where I did.
