Honestly I could see this as the main cover or the special cover most artists have started doing for their mangas or comics. Trying image sequence with this does sound interesting. It could work as long as your able to get the story across depending on how many images you draw and the dialogue that goes with certain scenes. But this looks exciting can't wait to read it.
