I don't know that Patreon has really built up the commenting culture we're used to on dA. Manic, who has literally hundreds of patrons, seems to average 4-6 comments on any given piece. I've read--and I've seen evidence to back this up--that asking questions on posts seems to elicit a greater response. Not just requests for feedback, but inquiries on what folks would like to see more of--just as you're currently doing with Doreen. (You're pretty much the only one commenting on my page lately, so thanks for that.)
