Hot summer days often see the giant Omar making his way to the southern shores of Guarida, to the coastal city he helped shape himself. After all, he personally built the wide avenue that now stretches from the city's outskirts to the ocean's edge.

He takes a moment to decide how to enjoy himself: will he stretch out in the sun, wade into the waves and swim, or try something else entirely? All options promises a good time, but one ritual comes first: grabbing a cold beer by the shore.

His taste for beer started simply enough. Some time ago, Omar noticed humans brewing the beverage, drinking it, and clearly enjoying themselves, so he decided to try it himself. A human-sized mug would shatter at his touch, a barrel would crush like a berry in his grip; neither option enough to truly savor the drink. So, in proper giant fashion, he went bigger. Finding a truck loaded with beer, he split it open and drank deep.

The flavor was vaguely familiar, although he couldn't recall when he'd last tasted something like it. One thing, however, was certain: he loved it.

And so, that was the day beer earned a place on his palate.

Soon after, the Great Builder in him took over. Omar designed a towering, steel-clad reservoir atop a seaside building: part cooling chamber, part drink dispenser. it worked like the countless water tanks he had installed across Guarida, but this one kept beer ice-cold and came equipped with disposable cups large enough for his hand.

Construction was the easy part; convincing the city to keep it stocked was harder. The breweries argued that producing the amount of beer needed for the giant was an enormous expense and a monumental feat. Omar valued hearing the humans out, but the final word was always his. After a brief negotiation, the city agreed to supply him the equivalent of one giant-sized cup a week, with each building able to store up to five giant pints of beer at a time.

It's said that for a body like his, it would take oceans to get him truly drunk... but anyone watching him after a few seaside cups might disagree.
