Project Poll 36
Added 2025-09-26 09:00:11 +0000 UTCI had half a mind to do another hair poll since I fell in the mood for it now even though I just made one, but there's a couple of variations leftover that I can make so there's probably going to be some more hair being done soon anyway. As such, going with a regular assortment of items for this one.
Anyway, poll options bellow, I'm reusing most of these from past polls, seems like there was some interest in most of them, so I'm also going to be copying most of the descriptions here from the previous polls.
1. Nike sneakers

- from the last poll, basic piece
2. Mechanix gloves

- from the last poll, mostly pretty straightforward and should be fun to work on.
3. TWD Daryl Vest

- also from the last poll. Might potentially be a bit more time consuming than the other two options above with the back wing logo thingy that would have to be recreated, but other than that should work nicely. Also has a post apocalyptic vibe by design so it would fit well in FO4
4. Tech Hoodie/jacket

- had this patron suggested, not too difficult, not too easy either, so middle of the road. Should work nicely with other pieces. Was in the last poll and was fairly popular, so giving it another shot now.
5. Fantasy Armor Set

- here's a more fantasy oriented set. It's probably something I would very likely port into Skyrim as well after. I will not touch the weapon most likely, just the armor set
- there's not A LOT to it at first glance, but I think this will be anything but simple to make. Definitely the most time consuming option here. Ornamental details like that are time consuming to make and the concept is not entirely "solved". A lot of it needs some figuring out since the details kinda blend together and don't make a lot of sense in some areas, so some amount of exploration is required
6. Fantasy Witch Set

- this option hasn't been in any of the past polls, so it's new for this one. I like the design, it's cute, striking and not too ... "try-hard" or busy I guess ? It's also a bit more organic with the interesting monster hat, so it should be fun to make and not too time consuming as it doesn't have complex things to model
- something like this I think fits better into Skyrim, so it's also something that will probably get ported there at some point, but some pieces should also work fine in FO4 in my opinion
- only issue is that the concept doesn't have any boots, so I have to design and come up with something myself, but it shouldn't be too challenging. It would probably still be easier than solving the previous concept with it's heavy details. I also don't exactly know how to approach the arm cloth parts from a rigging perspective, I don't think there's any bones that I can use to put physics on those, they might be static or look weird during movement/animation. They'd be a separate piece though, something that can be taken off, so not a big deal, I think
7. Modern Clothing Set

- also new for this poll, I don't know how to call it, so "modern clothing set" will do hehe. You might've noticed that I've never been very creative when it comes to naming stuff.
- it would be a modular set I guess, so even if you're not a huge fan of the whole thing, there's a lot of pieces here that could be used with other stuff. I have never done fishnets for example, so that would be a nice piece that could work with a lot of my previous items. I'm slightly dreading having to do the torn jeans shorts, I feel like I've done a lot of jeans over time and even shorts like the Revy items that are close to this. That being said, a pair of torn ones with pockets hanging out is kind of different and unique to the past ones so ... eh.
- time consuming overall, probably second of even first when it comes to that, since there's a lot to do here, but I can release it piece by piece a lot easier and faster than some of the other sets, since every piece is very well separated from one another and is more standalone or not dependent on the other pieces.
- like the past one, I don't have any footwear to work with here in the concept, so I have to do my own. I know exactly what to do here however, I'm envisioning a pair of high top converse for this set though with a couple of those worded belts around the ankles to tie it all together to the set, so I guess you have a clearer picture of what I would make for this. Luckily (and not at all accidental in my desire to do converse here lol), I have made low top converse sneakers in the past, so I can reuse A LOT of that model for this to speed things up there. Hey, if it fits, it fits ;)
8. None
- I'll replace this poll/options with something else
