Second update on this anime character. From top to bottom:
modeled her hair and fluffy ears
modeled remaining facial detail (brows, eyelashes ,eye detail); there's some small additional stuff here still missing but I'll probably have that in the texture rather than modeled in
closed mouth and modeled mouthbag (kind of useless since I won't be animating the mouth but best to have that embedded in the model just in case. I almost got carried away and added teeth and a tongue in there, but again since I won't be animating the mouth it seemed unnecessary and those can always be easily added later if ever required)
tweaked facial shape, softened her features for a cuter look.
thinned the neck/neck muscles for less realism and more stylized anime proportions
tweaked body shape for some anatomical corrections around the arms/collarbone (not perfect but it will do I think), widened hips and thighs slightly for a more sexy, stylized look and other smaller tweaks.
added genitals to the body model as per the results of the last poll

Sooo, yeah with all that being finished, the base model for this is about done. There's still clothing to be modeled but the actual character is more or less complete. Technically this was done since yesterday and today I was supposed to take care of the next step which ... umm ... I didn't.
I did do some small tweaks today but I've basically spun my wheels and that is because I've arrived to the part I was dreading and that is putting this in FO4 pose and doing an ingame test to make sure things animate correctly. I usually do that only once and at the end after everything is completely done, but in this case this test has to be done now, cause otherwise, I risk issues down the road.
Anyway, this body is not in said pose, I didn't model it like that cause I always found that pose awkward to deal with, so it needs to be moved into place to fit the existing rig. I guess this will have to be done tomorrow, no avoiding it any longer, but yeah having to mangle this mesh I've been working on is not going to be fun :( Good news is that after that is done, hopefully successfully, it's back to more fun stuff again. On the 3d model creation side, I still need to map and texture this model which should be very interesting and potentially challenging, as I've never done anything close to the type of texture a model like this requires.
And of course there's also the outfit for this character after all of that. I initially wanted to have it all done at once but this has been a lengthy process so I may release the base character as is and do the clothing afterwards. I'm thinking I may even have a poll with potential outfits for this character and you get to pick which one. Since I've already had one, may as well make this project more interactive and tuned to your choices. In fact I will very likely be doing that, so keep and eye out for that if you're very interested in this project.
