5 Years Running

Well, slightly premature as I recall, but then again, I don't remember the exact date anyway, sorry to say. Nonetheless, around end of April 2019 is when I first created my Patreon page and now, April 2024, marks 5 years since it has been open. I have to say that I didn't actually think back then that it would reach this point, but people kept pledging, so I kept making, time went on and here we are.

At the time of writing this, there are currently 178 posts with the "All-Releases" tag on the page, so that means 178 things have been released during this time. Maybe not the greatest, most imposing number, but during this time I also did my best to increase my skillset, increase the quality of the assets that I provide and learned or dabbled in things I would not have otherwise, so I am still proud of what has been achieved.

I would like to thank everyone that has pledged at one point or another. You really are the reason this has kept going all this time and it would definitely not be here without you. I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and especially thank some people that have been with me since the very beginning, month after month, for 5 years, which is honestly insane. I'm not going to list them here, but I do notice their names every time I write a readme file for a new release, so thank you so much!

So, what's next ? Well, a bit deflating here at the end, as I don't have any grand announcements to make or special things planned for this anniversary or the future. For now, things will progress as they have so far, or at least that's what I hope. Maybe I'll finally take the time to make a new page banner and change the current one, that thing's been up there for 5 years and it's starting to bother me, there's definitely better work it could be showcasing, hehe.

In any case, I wanted to take the time to comemorate this milestone, so thank you again and who knows, maybe there'll be another post like this in 5 years.
