I go back and forth on this. Sometimes the patterns on the skin definitely create a dramatic effect, and sometimes I go back to older strips and the cleanliness of the unpatterned characters seems more pleasing.

i think its just busy enough, love makes us think we are the centers of attention but the dawgs detail and overall scope of material + designs pulls it together as one, showing us an appreciation of the beauty in all things around us, connected to us, not just us. its impressive, theres no collision or dissonance unless shown as such. art is suppose to make ppl uncomfortable, b/c art is full of synergy from this world and all the worlds before us and after us. that looks different for everyone, the patterns show more than they let on imo it adds depth to each character, feels clear and such divinity stands out for that reason if one sees it. idk at the end of the day its beautiful to exist with this level of care and thought and passion, your reflection is understandable but i have a counter reflection that it's refreshing to see authentic synchronisation of color and pattern and character, the dawgs art is elevated in that special kind of way that we can really appreciate. moreso than chowder if any of this makes sense, though i love chowder too, i think dawgs style is unique to him, i hope any change is for the better for him as the creator. thank you for hearing me

The new style with all the patterns is a little too busy.. I always liked your psychedelic and creative backgrounds as well as the patterns on their clothes (reminds me of chowder) but I think having their skin be patterns makes them blend in instead of being the clear focus of attention.
