Looking through the comic, though, it seems that Arashi is only ever really friendly to Souta when she needs his help? From what I've noticed, she usually disregards him completely (Which I think is a little wack, considering she knows that he's one of Nao's closest friends). Obviously, she's not evil or a witch and it's okay to sympathize with her feelings. Though I, personally, am not a fan of her just because of how she seems to treat Nao's friends. (I also think it's a bit ironic that she seemed so upset over Inoue inviting the rest of the group into the planned hangout, when she also barged into a hangout with Souta and Nao). I'd love to hear more of your thoughts over the topic of Arashi! (Especially now that more parts have come out.) (Sorry I also forgot to mention that Arashi isn't REALLY the first friend Nao made on his own.. Souta was? Arashi may have been Nao's first friend after seemingly finding himself, but Souta was the one that got him there)

If I comment anything that sounds violent, it's all just playful, I don't actually want any harm towards the characters. But I'm sure some people are commenting mean things and mean it. Just don't read too much into it. I think we're all here for the drama!😉 In the end we just want Souta and Nao to confess and be together and I think some people are just showing their thin patience lol. Just because we’ve known Souta for years now as readers doesn’t mean every fictional girl he encounters is an insensitive, evil witch for not understanding/knowing how he feels. This is just life! Obviously you can say and feel what you want, but I feel bad for Arashi. I can’t imagine the author feels great seeing rude comments about her every chapter. I personally am SO here for the drama and I think Arashi is a great character. I hope that after the love triangle is resolved, she sticks around! She’s the first friend Nao has made on his own, and she shares a lot of similar interests and he deserves to have friends! I hope in the future the three of them can all hang out together ☺️

But being selfless is not about putting always others above your own needs, while you just continue suffering and suffering. Sometimes I wonder if Souta truly just wants Nao to be happy, or if he feels the need to punish himself as well for the fact that he'd never be enough for Nao (in his pov). I think Souta needs to learn that distinction between being selfless for someone you care about, and constantly push yourself back even if you're in pain for that. That's not right, and it's not a beautiful thing imo. I always say that when saying yes to other people's happiness means saying no to your own, it might not be a good deal. If he thinks Nao and Arashi like each other, he can back off and keep suffering thinking he'll never have Nao. But giving Arashi the tickets? No, that's just stupid. He didn't need to do that. He could have stepped away without burying a knife into his own chest, you know? 😭
