Because I… I’m a… I…” Even though he never says “I’m a guy”, I imagine he is using the first person pronoun 俺 (ore) or 僕 (boku) which are both masculine. This hurt me even more cuz while he’s repeating “I” all he hears is the masculine pronoun he’s using so he doesn’t even need to finish his sentence 😭

Like all of their interactions up to this point, she hasn't even tried to be genuinely kind or have a real conversation with him.

2024-12-19 04:34:38 +0000 UTCOMG I SWEAR I READ THIS TOO MUCH BUT… I think Arashi is starting to seek help from Souta now because she realized how much Souta means to Nao. This meaning that she asked Souta about the Christmas present and is mentioning that Nao and him are really close ONLY after seeing Nao buy Souta a christmas present (the soccer shoes). Nao probably spoke very fondly of Souta when she was with him buying the shoes, which is further reason why she is pushing Souta from then on to be on her side. Because beforehand she wasn’t as interested in getting his help with Nao before the scene where Nao seems to have bought Souta the soccer shoes!

Also, while I know Nao is noticing that Souta did something with Inoue, he’s also noticing that Souta doesn’t seem happy about it. And that Souta doesn’t seem happy about the amusement park event either. Nao’s always been pretty focused on Souta’s emotions, whether or not he understands them…we’ll have to see.

But as you explained it, I can see so many flaws with her now. Mainly I missed the fact that she completely disregarded Souta when she greeted Nao when they were hanging out. I’ve started meeting a lot of new people lately because they are friends of my friend, and whenever that happens YOU ADDRESS THEM AND SAY HELLO AND MAKE CONVERSATION. Thank you for making me realize my reasons for disliking her are valid because I really didn’t like her vibe before.

Same, like yeah Souta might be kinda weird or whatever she might think of him, but she never really did try to have a conversation with him outside of the ticket giving scene. Well, Nao was opening up to people by the time the festival came around so it’s not too far out of the ballpark, but yeah it’s more likely she approached him first and it went on from there.

Even if not besties, Nao thought the three of them would hang out and chill-Yet none of that happened!! 2024-11-24 23:00:55 +0000 UTCTLDR - I give 4 reasons why i’m no longer giving Arashi the benefit of doubt 🤷🏾♀️ I was just rereading everything btw and guys although Arashi seems like a good person in general but I can’t get over the fact of how she completely disregards Souta’s feelings EVERY single time! Like this girl’s social cues is sooo bad. 1) When she first meets Souta she talks about him being the clown and saying it was hilarious which in itself isn’t bad but just left it at that - already left a bad taste in my mouth but I digress and ignored it, But #2) When she crashes Nao’s and Souta’s little hangout she does not even address Souta at all, literally just says Hi to Nao and was like “let’s go somewhere” like girl did you not see them hanging out??? and then #3) While hanging out Nao’s trying to include Souta and admittedly Souta’s joke about joining the bad was cringe (Nao still smiled kyahhh) She literally was like “yea ok.. Anyways” and overlooked him completely. Like umm miss ma’am, ask what he listens too, ask how his day is going SOMETHING, ANYTHING!!! She hogged Nao practically the whole time without a care and didn’t even say bye when he left, like girl I get that’s not your friend but ummm common courtesy?? and last but not least #4) HER ACCEPTING THE TICKETS?? No way would I ever take someone’s hard earned gift for my own, even if Souta “won it in a raffle” obviously he pays enough attention to Nao’s likes enough to enter the “raffle” for his sake so that he could go- that is time and effort he made for a crazy good gift. Like that’s crazy behavior! Instead I would have like added on gift vouchers to the venue where the band plays for free food or drink or maybe some soccer gear like it’s not hard honestly to find something else. EVEN at the very least say “I’ll let him know right away who they came from” or something along with maybe again- free food or BOUGHT them off of him idk anything rather than just taking Nao’s friend for granted atp to gain brownie points in Nao’s favor. Sorry but as much as Nao has been through it Souta has been having things going on too and I’ve been wanting him to relax and just chill and have fun lately so my conclusion is because of her blatant lack of care of Souta, a dear friend of the guy she supposedly “like”, (It would actually be so much worse if she didn’t like Nao cause then atp why are you ignoring Souta and being rude?) I will no longer be giving her the benefit of the doubt. I rest my case.

Okay so Souta told Nao he had a crush on Inoue to hide his “I wanna try kissing you” moment, then Nao hears they went on a ghost tour, then he sees Inoue jump in to the amusement park and invite Souta…. There is a misunderstanding brewing there that I totally forgot about!

Now who will pair up at the Wonderland? Arashi will want to be with Nao but it seems like Nao is picking up on Souta's mood so he'll probably want to stick with Souta! And why did Inoue invite herself and others along? She doesn't seem jealous anymore. Perhaps she's noticed Souta's feelings, too and is trying to help? Aghhh I can't wait to see! <3
