I had to come back to it and comment on it, they've been talking about he world around them and the way they think how the people in it relate to them, something SPECIALLY relevant to nao sine he is so new to regaining that connection to his surroundings so his mind is still on topic But Souta charges ahead, leading the way (just by the nature of the ride but also their relationship) So its specially meaningful how when Souta says to "hold tight because of the ride is a bit bumpy" he means it literally, but for NAO is also a reflection on how life is itself a bumpy ride, HIS life currently, will likely STILL be a bumpy ride with how many changes have been on his life But Souta is there for him to hang unto, ready to help him, to support him and carry him forward if he needs to, and Nao not ONLY hold to Souta phisically but its also a reflection of his intention to indeed hold him close in this period on his life, not ONLY that he even takes it further cus he LAYS his head on Souta, so he won't only cling to that relationship as letting Souta help him through there hard times but he trust him enough to lay on him, and there is no doubt on the level of relief and safety that gives him, he can close his eyes and just trust everything will be okay during the ride THIS IS GREAT WRITING it's very sweet and perfectly shown without being hammered into our faces, wonderful great marvelous Also the ending was really funny haha, partners in life and in crime
