It’s been a while since we saw the main story line and not the flash back. 😁 (mind you, I’ve been loving the flashback as much as the main story line. It’s good, and heartbreaking, to see why Nao is the way he is.)

Looking back at Nao's reaction to Souta and Ryu, I'm now thinking of the most recent update with Nao first quitting soccer. Instead of his reaction just being jealousy or fear of losing another friend, it's that debilitating fear of reliving a terrible moment. There's still the look of "not again" in Nao's eyes but now I have the reasoning and it's too much for my heart. Your story gets richer and richer every week Aina. Every single week. It's no wonder why we keep rereading. We have to take in every situation with the new context. And just cause it's a beautiful story. Can't forget that part.
