Taking a Break

I have come to the decision that I need to take a break from XXXivilization for a few months. The main reason for this is that I have been promoted at my main job, which is a pretty cool thing for me personally, but it also means that I will be a lot busier and won′t have as much time for the passion project that is this game until I’ve grown a bit into this new position. Additionally, I have to admit that my motivation to develop XXXivilization is not as high as it once was - things don′t feel fresh and exciting any longer. I hope that both of these factors change a few months down the line, but I cannot be entirely sure of how long this will take.
What this means for the short term is:
- I will pause the patreon page so nobody gets charged any money while I′m taking my break
- I will still release chapter 2.6 in the upcoming days
I hope that you can understand my position and I am sorry if this is disappointing. I will still be active on discord if you want to keep in contact or have questions about the game.

Speaking as a developer, pouring your passion into something over such a long period of time puts the fire out. I wish you the best with your new role with your job. For our sake as well as your own I hope that you treat yourself well and proceed with your game only when you feel inspired to do so.
