Weekly Update (July 9, 2025)

Hey everyone!

After last week's WIP Clip, I decided to reach out for feedback.  I also did some more... uhh... research... on successful consensual tentacle scenes.  I absorbed good feedback, and learned that I need to do some more things to improve the tentacle-y vibe of the scene.  In other words, the tentacles should be more alive and alien (and less like expensive female toys).  Before finishing the action-based animations in phase two, I'm going to revisit the third phase (shown in previous WIP Clips).  Once the improvements are done, I'll be moving to birth and then adding the beginning dialogue animations.

I've been asked for ETA's, but I learned my lesson yet again with my previous Jill and Ada project.  Giving ETA's (when there's still so much to do) is a bad idea and only causes discontent when the target is missed.  This is my first tentacle scene.  I want to deliver a quality one, and I really don't want to cut corners.  I know many of you guys want to see the full scene as soon as possible, and I'm doing my best so you guys won't have to wait too long.

I'm also working on previous short scene that haven't been released publicly yet.  I'm slowly but surely making them compatible for Blender 4.3 and raytracing tech.  The main delay is due to textures and shaders not being the same between Blender versions.

There's one week left to vote on the ongoing character poll.  The poll ends on July 16th.  If you're a Hugger or Alpha Hugger, vote vote vote!  The next scene will definitely be a return to facehugging and lovehugging.  So keep that in mind in regards to who you voted for.  I believe this platform does allow you to change your vote(s) before the poll finishes.

Speaking of facehuggers!  A few weeks ago I created a 24-hr poll on Discord asking whether my Discord members liked the new facehugger models (with the tails) or if they preferred the lovehugger models I've used for years.  I'll create the same poll here as an effort to see if the outcome is consistent with Discord's results.  In the below poll, please choose whether you like the new facehugger model used in Jill and Ada's scene, or if you miss the old hugger models without tails.  Please note that I'm mainly asking about their model type and quality.  If you dislike the tail wrapping around the neck, that is something that can be avoided in future scenes.
