Weekly Update (Oct 15, 2024)

Not many of you know this. I live in the US state of Florida. A day after last week's Weekly Update, Hurricane Milton made international news and smashed into Florida. Most of the state lost electricity for days. I, myself, didn't get power back until Sunday (Oct 13). Unfortunately this meant that my plans for Black Widow's project were interrupted by 5 days.
I know it feels like this project is dragging on. I apologize for that. As stated in previous weekly updates, the content in this scene is more complex than anything I've done before. In the future, my script writing will be more focused on building 5 minute scenes so that I can meet the promised monthly windows.
Because of Hurricane Milton, my status with the project hasn't changed much. When I finally got power back, I spent Sunday getting back to normal. Yesterday (Monday) I knocked out a lot of animation obstacles, inching the project closer to a viable VA Cut for my voice actress.
That's all I got for this week. I know it's not much. My goal with these weekly updates is to keep you guys as informed as possible about what I'm working on. And the sad truth is that I wasn't able do much after a historic tornado factory of a hurricane roared over the Florida peninsula. If you were also affected by either Milton or Helene, I hope you and your families are safe.
