Although I was pretty happy with what I could do on pencil & ink at the time, I knew I wasn't going to make it with those skills. The competition in art is huge & tough, but it's better not to think about it, just have fun and express yourself.
I've seen many fall & give up because of "competition." If you are willing to continue and learn, you will get through. Don't see others as competition, but a path to learn from (no matter how much better or worse you think you are to them, everyone has something to offer).
I've still got ways to go. I just want to share my mindset on why I'm still going.

So I decided to go into different mediums. I've tried traditional painting, but the most success I found was digital painting. Just like a new game, in the beginning, I was just having all kinds of fun, just making all kinds of stuff. But I realized, I need to improve, and fast. And the fastest way I could think of, was going back to the fundamentals (life-drawing). πΏ
