It makes me wonder about Robin Arryn's future leadership capabilities (assuming he lives that long and someone else doesn't assume control of the Vale). Ugh. I had managed to successfully repress Jojen paste until now. Thanks for bringing that back up. ;) Someone needs to scour the maester who fled's records to see if he had a census for Harrenhal. We need to find out if someone is missing. I really hope the show isn't about to show more awfulness in the form of seeing Alys Rivers grind up a body or something. I appreciate that HOTD is giving us a new view of a female noble's opinion of her own husband's bastards. We've gotten people like Catelyn's, but no others (to my recollection). Ellaria Sand is a separate case, as she's a bastard herself and some of the bastards are her own children. I love that Rhaenys chastises Corlys over the treatment of his children, because she feels like they deserve better and to be acknowledged. I don't know about anyone else, but that seems like a truly wild position for a princess to take, at least politically. In a time where Team Green is painting themselves as holy and Rhaenyra as this degenerate, it might be wise to wait to acknowledge the evidence that you broke your marriage vows until after you win a war. It seems to me, marching out your bastards now could be somewhat harmful to rehabbing your reputation. True, Aegon has bastards all over King's Landing, but Team Green would let all of those children die rather than admit a single one is legitimately Aegon's offspring. Team Black will probably have their hands forced soon with the whole dragonseed of it all, but they obviously can't say Alyn and Addam are Laenor's sons in HOTD, just based on their ages. I'm anticipating they'll claim Alyn and Addam are Vaemond's sons because Vaemond is dead, so the stain of "Vaemond's" actions won't tarnish Team Black as much, but they can still acknowledge Targaryen/Velaryon blood ties later.
