It’s like an audio commentary, where Schwift and Glidus watch and discuss every Jon scene in GOT – from the highs of Season 1 to the lows of Season 8. It’s a Schwifty companion piece to the Alt Shift X Real Jon video.
The Fake Jon video is blocked by YouTube, so we’ve uploaded it exclusively to Patreon and Nebula. On Patreon it’s in three parts: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.

I would love to see this supercut concept with Dany, especially her travel through Essos. The downside is it will be pretty redundant with this video as soon as she meets Jon :(

D&D wanted to make it their own. but unfortunately for fans they are horrible story tellers and writers

Hobb is friends with GRRM, and there are super interesting (and spoilery - spoilers below! ⚠️) parallels between their stories. There's magic trees, ancient dragonlords, main character is magically bonded with a wolf - soul is in the wolf pending resurrection... Warging is very similar.

2024-06-14 06:22:30 +0000 UTCI've loved parts 1 and 2 so far! A fun thing to watch on my day off. I hate everything that happens right after Jon's death, just like you all. I could maybe see some of the Wildlings coming to protect Jon's body if they found out the Watch planned to intentionally feed Jon's body to the White Walkers instead of burning him (which wouldn't happen in 100 years), but that's about the only reason why. Thorne being combative makes entirely zero sense. Maybe the other participants in Jon's murder would, but NOT Thorne. It's always bothered me. D & D had no clue what they were doing with Sansa. The show wasn't listening to femme writers consistently enough in order for them to make a survivor-getting-revenge-girlboss arc even remotely believable. If D & D were going for that, it was always going to feel inauthentic, in part, due to that reason. "If there's one thing that's consistent in Game of Thrones, it's the quality of the rocks." LOL
