About the contest, we’d just need a short summary — just a few lines — so there’s enough creative freedom when drawing and recreating the story. That way it’s faster for the Patrons to check it out and vote if they like the premise.

The title ‘Life and Death at the End of the World’ specifically refers to Hinata’s life after leaving Konoha and all the adventures she went through before meeting Iruka, trying to redeem herself from her wild, carefree lifestyle.

So I don't understand why you can't do the same with Tobi while the comic is still ongoing.
