they sent in special forces para troopers 2 days before d day to try and weakin the supply lines and back up nazi forces so when they finally got through they were met with back up from the 101st Airbourne

YES I LOVE WAR MOVIES, being a patriot for the free world and as someone who will be joining the armed forces in the future I love the accuracy of this movie and works 2 has such a special place in my heart because my grandpa‘s brothers all fought in it
