2025-03-06 16:50:10 +0000 UTCTo RPendragon: Agreed. If you read the LNs the Danmachi Gods can be more serious especially when they were up in Heaven. Context clues indicate they even warred up there in the same way their IRL mythological and Nasuverse counterparts did. They can afford to be go-lucky and easy going because they are the ultimate power in their verse. Meanwhile, while strong, the Eathbound Nasuverse Gods had to deal with each other, Alien Gods, Dead Apostles, Types, Demons, Outer Gods, and their own planet for power. So I think that the Danmachi deities' character development comes less from reconciliation with alt universe kids (the Adventurers already function as semi-Demigods and are called Children) and more from the fact that they can conceive and something took that from them in this AU.

2025-02-28 05:30:46 +0000 UTCyeah and also apart from Grand Dungeon, like you said all other fateXdanmachi just boils down to "Shirou Builds a harem in Gekai" Or the big overused one "Bell summons Servants who only just plays support and trains Bell to shine even more than Canon" and not really make any changes to the Danmachi like they should be given their character personalities and Powers.

2025-02-22 23:41:05 +0000 UTCNot just that but also Grand Dungeon follows a major plot that is for some reason not used as often in other fatexDanmachi crossovers which is in the interaction between Danmachi Gods with their alternate worlds Children. Something that is weirdly not touch upon as much in any other stories in this crossover category despite having a boat load of possibility to work with. And I believe that I'm correct in saying that is the biggest aspect of why this Fic is so damn popular. The character development and interaction between parents with Kids that have troubled lives is a key thing that people love to read here. Especially when its concentrated on Danmachi characters while yes do experience dark things in their own canon universe, they are still exist in a much more lighter and brighter universe compare to their alt Kids. And its nice to see how these types characters get brought down by the experience of their less fortunate kids and transform from go lucky and easy going characters to more grounded and mature individuals as they tried to connect with kids that in their own viewpoint have neglected and broken, feeling like they need to care for.

2025-02-21 01:32:09 +0000 UTCI wanted to either have Sword Order, Alternative Records or Fate Legend but it seems that Grand Dungeon is inevitable. Hopefully it ends soon, I’m not roasting on the story but it’s just that other stories that have been up for far longer don’t get updated as frequently.
