I had the same thought which was why there's a part I wrote where he may have use for it later. As for why it was given, there was a dark element in the sword that I thought would match with Ainz

2022-11-30 17:41:47 +0000 UTCSo, I'm curious why in Hero and Sword's latest update Shirou gave Momon copies of Lakyus's sword given that it is almost certainly a considerable downgrade from his conjured Greatswords. Ainz's greatswords as Momon are Relic Class, the third highest tier, while there is evidence that Ainz grossly overestimated the Black Knight's power, and thus, the power of his gear. At the time we didn't know, but New Worlders can bypass level requirements to take jobs, and that's assuming he even was a Cursed Knight. As Kilineiram has access to the darkness abilities it's entirely possible that he didn't have the class, and emulated it with 4 swords that had those abilities. In all likelihood, Kilineiram is lower class and power than Ainz's conjured Greatswords.
