I'll do that then, and probably settle the update around a day or two after fate-in time's

2018-04-13 19:22:20 +0000 UTCYeah the Vasto of White is honestly probably the best Fate Stay NightxBleach Crossover I've ever read. I especially enjoyed the unique approach you took to portraying Shirou as a hollow and quite obviously everyone else did too. The fact that most recent chapter elicited such a negative outcry honestly shows just how many people enjoyed your work to point of feeling so strongly about it. This is just my opinion on matter but I think it's probably better to scrap that entire chapter and redo it. The way Aizen took out Shirou and how Shirou just... well it seriously lacks the sophistication that Aizen is known for. Considering his modus operandi it just felt so incredibly clumsy and I feel Aizen being Aizen would spend more effort trying to sway Shirou to his side. It's true that Shirou is a massive potential threat but considering Aizen's nature he couldn't help but be incredibly interested in Shirou both in his power and as a individual. Depending on how it's played out their relationship could be incredibly interesting to say the least. I'm remembering what Ichigo said about Aizen in chapter 422 in which he said in Aizen's sword there was nothing but loneliness in his sword and a longing to find someone on his level but failing that only led to his own despair, sorrow, and isolation from his peers. A part of me wonders if taking that into consideration would Aizen a feel a sort of strange "kinship" with Shirou as he is a Hollow far different than others also with a superior power and ability. The difference between them is how they treated and embraced others. Thinking along those lines even should Shirou and Aizen become enemies and with different viewpoints part of me feels in his own way Aizen would treasure his relationship with Shirou. Perhaps maybe see Shirou as some sort of inverse mirror to himself in a way. Those are just some of my thoughts anyway after reading your story and refreshing myself on Aizen's nature and what was revealed. Well besides that I think a you putting up a mini update which is basically a author's note telling the readers your feelings and thoughts and how you need more time to decide what to do for this story would go a long way to smoothing out a bunch of ruffled feathers. Also on a much more light hearted note I really enjoy the whole thing you got between Shirou and Tier harribel. Amusingly enough as far as relationship compatibility goes I feel that both Tier and Nel probably rate among the highest among Bleach series that fit with Shirou's tastes if we go by personality:)

2018-04-13 09:18:41 +0000 UTCHmm, your right, and there definitely were several things that I should have had considered more and really I should have. It was a lack of planning on my part and being flustered from a previous negative chapter. To begin with, I had wanted to start by setting up the stage for future events, but then realized that with the way things were going, the imagined ending was going to differ. Therefore, I tried to patch the waters with a patch that was more comparable to paper than wood clearly. Planning on the chapter only got worse after a bumbed final exam on the same day. What I'm trying to say is that I understand where the negativity is coming from and that I want to fix it as soon as possible. If that means having to put more time into altering something in the chapter or making an entirely new path, I guess I'd have no choice but to do it and re-envision an ending course. The only question now is if it would be appropriate to create a new chapter or continue along with what's already there? To this regard, I'll have to ask the opinions of the readers so please let me know what you think so I can decided on a course of action. I'm going to make this better because the Vasto of White was a story envisioned with the passion I had for the series. It was one of the the things that got me started on fan fiction so I won't give up on it if possible

2018-04-13 07:34:00 +0000 UTCDamn I wasn't done yet but accidentally hit enter... to continue on from last post rather than Aizen literally have Shirou being steamrolled by cleaner someone mentioned the possibility of Shirou being banished to hell and him having to break out which could have been fairly interesting. Another also brought up that considering what happened to bran and due to what Shirou is the whole metting with Kisuke probably won't go so well unless you pull the whole "Shirou lost his memory card" which I really hope you don't because that would feel really contrived and honestly lame. Considering that Shirou is a Arrancar and technically has to adjust to his new "status" some temporary weakness would be understandable for a time as he has to learn how to use his powers. However Shirou should be incredibly powerful, just his first resurrection coupled with his unique abilities would probably make at least on par if not stronger than Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto (I'm not counting him summoning forth UBW here by the way). Should Shirou achieve the same feat as Ulquiorra Cifer along with mastery of UBW then he would be a "monster" that even Ywach would fear (though I imagine Shirou and Ywach would utterly despise each other). Anyway another point that was made is that the hollows who followed Shirou probably wouldnt follow Aizen since it's more than just power for why they followed Shirou the Vasto Lorde of White inspired True loyalty in his suboardinates and I don't doubt quite a fair number of them would die to "avenge Shirou" at the very least I don't see any of the Vasto Lordes truly yielding to them and as strong as Aizen is I'm pretty sure he isn't good enough to take all of them on at same time even with his abilities. Besides that you got to be careful where you take this story because the next chapter will most likely be a make it or break it for this fanfic and that's the cold truth. A lot of people are frustrated over what happened and I know you have your reasons but your author note left a much to be desires like A LOT to be desired. A couple extra sentences that expanded on WHY you felt story needed the change would have probably gone a LONG why to smoothing the flames. How you wrote your author's note sorta of felt like a slap in the face for us fans. I'm saying all this as a fan and with all due respect just an honest opinion on at least how I feel. I really enjoyed this fanfic and I would hate to see it fizzle out due to this.
