Ideas of what Adam may be doing in Huntsman of Red

Finally, Adam can choose to be more a neutral party in which he either helps the side of light or dark when their goals and ideals align with his desire for a world that acknowledge Faunus rights. Adam could choose to aid the Huntsman of Red when Faunus lives were on the line, but at the same time Adam may oppose him would Shirou choose to save human lives. That difference of Adam wanting to save Faunus lives versus Shirou wanting to save everyone. So unlike in RWBY, where he support Cinder's faction, the White Fang will be more a neutral party in which their sole support could may change the course of history.

Or, Adam may end up working with Shirou and the others from Beacon more directly as a student or some sort (he could act as a representive of Vermillion and since you haven't add a lot of details regarding huntsmens from Vermillion, you can use that to more lore to your OC kingdom. From there he can be more active on building relationships and character developments, he'll maybe Adam end up being in an offical team with Shirou as leader. (I mean something like SABR for Saber, seem to be a very good way to represent Fate and RWBY in a way.)

Either, he will come to understand that open terrorism will not bring out the right message for Faunus everywhere, yet at the same time, refuse to take the path that the old White Fang had done with their peaceful protests. So as such, he decides to repurpose the White Fang to committing to more respectable actions, such as protecting Vermillion, strike out against people that both the Fang and those outside of it can agree on stopping, and actively earn the people's trust, both Faunus and humans alike to be the pillar to hold up the bridge of equality. But in volume 4, turns out that Adam is not THE leader of the White Fang but is more than a top lieutenant running the Vale branch of the organization. You may have Adam break away from the White Fang as a whole and make a new organization with the Faunus from the Vale branch and with the Huntsman of Red backing him up.
