Added 2021-03-24 23:01:01 +0000 UTCA lot of us stop reading once we leave school. I get it. It's not as if school made reading any fun for us. They made us read specific books, and made us read in a specific way. They told us to "read at their reading level," discouraged exploration, forced us to finish books we hated and made us take detailed notes along the way...I guess to prove we weren't listening to the audiobook or something?
You can read what ever you want, how ever you want. Who cares if it's comic books? Romance books are cool too. Audiobooks are just as valid. Personally, I love picture books and children's literature. Read what ever you want and put something down if it sucks! There are so many books in the world. You can't read em all, so you might as well read what you enjoy Let go of those painful school memories. Never stop learning~ ๐ค
