IRL issues: the struggle bus chronicles

Hi. So, I don’t really talk about my personal situations, you guys don’t come here for that and I try to keep my life separate from work but things have been… a little overwhelming xD so I need to prioritize what would make thing easier in the long run so I’m just going to let you in on what’s happening and why I need to do a few things

OKAY!

So, to start, I broke my wrist, my left not my right so I can still work, however it it takes sooooo much longer to maintain everything outside of work with one arm that I’m burnt out a lot of the time. Which I think is why I’ve slow with work, and I’m super sorry for that 🙏

Second! My mom lost her hearing, she’s been struggling with hearing for awhile but last week she woke up and just POOF. Gone. So I’m running errands and helping get her to appointments when my dad can’t. I actually saw her get ear injections the other day…I couldn’t sleep after that. Just seeing her face twist. I’ve never seen her like that. So im both mentally and emotionally drained most of the time. Everything is going to be fine, but I am exhausted.

Ontop of that my sister AND my niece are sick. Her ex husband is being zero help so she’s essentially just stranded so I’m trying to figure out either out to get to her or send her stuff so it makes like easier. idfk what I’m supposed to do anymore, I’m trying my best. I owe 9 pieces to clients, plus a sketch I took on discord. Have been struggling financially for a while, staying afloat just fine but sometimes those waves are just a little to high and it’s hell to swim back to the surface. I’m not asking for donations, I’ll figure it out, I also do

That being said!

I need a little more patience, we’re going to be looking into implants which will be..a cost and a half but I’m more than confident we can make it work. I need to take 2 week off from comics and owe pieces so I can take on demand sketches daily, I might stream, might have a few discounts, not sure. I cant however keep going how I’ve been going with issues piling up so I need a period to gather funds before going back into comics.

I had to do this before and it was not that long ago but I don’t think I have a choice at this point. I’m just a little overwhelmed and feel just a tiny bit a time to regain traction. I’m sorry if I disappoint anyone, I really really am
