Hi people, so here's a link that explains how Apple is trying to thwart this community, by demanding extra fees for any purchase made in the iOS Patreon App.

Please take a minute to read into it, but long story short: I'll have to cover those fees by making my tiers more expensive if purchased from the app. The easiest solution for you will be to simply don't use the app when it comes to pay for a membership, but instead do it via web, cause there you'll find the original prices. Did we need another proof that multimillionaire companies suck? Not really. Are we going to let them boycott virtual spaces that promote free artistic expression? I don't think so. Buonasera gente, dunque a questo link vi verrà spiegato che i poveracci di Apple hanno deciso di ostacolare la nostra community, imponendo una tassa del 30% su ogni transazione effettuata dalla versione iOS della App di Patreon. Queste voci giravano da un pezzo, ma evidentemente Patreon non ha potuto evitarlo, ed eccoci qui. Leggete pure con calma, ma in sostanza, da Novembre 2024 dovrò rientrare di queste spese aumentando i costi dei miei abbonamenti SE e solo se acquistati dalla App iOS (non si applica alla versione Android). Per me è una rottura di cazzo ma per voi la soluzione sarà più semplice: quando dovete iscrivervi o effettuare qualsiasi pagamento su Patreon, fatelo via web e non dalla app: così troverete i prezzi di sempre. Non so a voi, ma a me una ragione in più per odiare certe multinazionali non serviva. Fa nulla, il world wide web è grande <3
