April 2021 Vs. April 2023

- April 2021 -

Days after recovering from my first infection with SarsCoV-2 (or whatever new name they gave it), I ran away from home and looked for wide, open spaces to breathe some fresh air: that's what I needed after a 2 months lockdown and 3 weeks of sickness. When I've found that amazing meadow, I was speechless: an infinite sea of bright green and vibrant yellow, a sweet smell surfing the wind and pleasing my nose, that was finally starting to work again. The landscape was expressing the same feeling of freedom that was warming my heart. The next year I went back to that same place, and found it arid. 

- April 2023 -

It's been a rainy month, and I was longing to enjoy the fresh leaves and petals of this seasonal rebirth, when suddenly the Sun came out. Having zero time to organize a trip, I went to the nearest park, willing to recreate the atmosphere of that set made two years ago. The dandelions were there, along with lots of fresh grass, so even if I wasn't totally satisfied with the landscape, I've decided to drop some clicks and see. I hope you will enjoy my nostalgic shooting 🧚🏻‍♂️ Oh, I even got sunburnt on this set 🙈 I wonder why was I put in this world so delicate, without being a flower 🌸

- Aprile 2021 -

Pochi giorni dopo esser guarita dalla mia prima infezione da SarsCoV-2, reduce da due mesi di lockdown (ricordate? Zona rossa, poi arancione ecc...) e tre settimane di quarantena, corsi a cercare qualche spazio aperto in cui respirare. Quando trovai per caso questo magnifico prato fiorito, mi pervase una sensazione di euforia incredibile, come se quei colori avessero attivato i miei recettori della dopamina ormai in pensione da secoli 🌻 Quel paesaggio esprimeva la stessa sensazione di libertà che provavo dentro, e spero di non dimenticarla mai, anche attraverso queste foto. L'anno successivo tornai nello stesso luogo, desiderosa di rivivere quelle sensazioni, ma mi ritrovai invece di fronte ad una distesa di terra arida.

- Aprile 2023 -

Questo è stato un mese piovoso - per fortuna direi - ma da brava meteropatica (si dice così?) l'ho passato aspettando il Sole, Sole sufficiente almeno a godersi i fiori e le foglie freschi appena nati. La nostra Stella ha giocato a nascondino con me per molti giorni, spuntando fuori quando io ero chiusa in casa, e sparendo quando uscivo, finche poi l'ho trovata. Ecco quindi che corro nel prato più vicino, desiderosa di rievocare quel set di due anni fa; trovo il tarassaco, trovo il prato fresco, e me li faccio bastare. Il risultato è molto diverso dall'originale, ma sono felice di essermi presa un'insolazione per queste foto nostalgiche 🧚🏻‍♂️ Voi la pensate come me? Che ne dite di questi scatti?
